Die Miron Glasölflasche Pollux ( 500 ml, Artikelnummer: SM140011-204) gehört zur Produktfamilie der Ölflaschen der Designserie Pollux . Sie verfügt über ein 31,5-STD-Gewinde, einen speziell geformten Flaschenhals, der sich ideal zum dosieren von Flüssigkeiten wie hochwertigen Ölen und Essig eignet, beispielsweise Olivenöl, Samenöl, Pflanzenöl und vieles mehr. Sie kann aber auch in der Kosmetikbranche, etwa für Massage- oder Körperöle, verwendet werden. Die Flasche hat die Gewindenorm UNI 10155 31,5. Die CPR-Flasche ist mit einem Metallverschluss mit integriertem Ausgießer und Schraubverschluss ausgestattet. Die Flasche selbst hat kein Gewinde; der Verschluss besteht aus zwei Teilen, die durch einen Sicherheitsring miteinander verbunden sind. Der Verschluss wird auf die Flasche geklickt, was etwas Kraft erfordert, da er in die Rillen der Flasche einrasten muss. Viele (minderwertige) Öle werden derzeit in Plastikflaschen abgefüllt. Plastikflaschen sind umweltschädlich und können aufgrund der Verwendung von Chemikalien (wie BPA) und der Möglichkeit, kleinste Plastikpartikel aufzunehmen, gesundheitsschädlich sein. Glasflaschen sind eine umweltfreundliche Alternative zu Plastikflaschen und erfreuen sich aus diesen Gründen zunehmender Beliebtheit.
